Kahana Feld is pleased to announce that partners Avi Attal, Ron Brand, Jason Feld, Amir Kahana, and Sharon Oh-Kubisch were selected to the 2025 Southern California Super Lawyers list. 

Avi Attal is co-chair of Kahana Feld’s Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation Group and trial counsel for the firm’s General Liability Group. An experienced trial lawyer, Attal has represented clients through every part of the employment dispute process, including compliance consultations, pre-litigation investigations, DFEH & EEOC investigations, worker compensation disputes, Department of Industrial Relations hearings, mediations, binding arbitrations, bench trials, jury trials, and appeals. 

Ron Brand is co-chair of Kahana Feld’s Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation Group, where he provides legal guidance and representation to employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including defense against federal and state-based wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, whistleblower, defamation, breach of contract, fraudulent inducement, and other similar claims. He also provides preventive counseling and advice to employers on a wide variety of human resources and personnel issues 

Jason Feld is a founding partner of Kahana Feld. He focuses his practice on the defense of homebuilders, contractors, developers, and real estate professionals primarily in construction defect, general liability, insurance defense, construction accident, and real estate matters.  He also represents government entities handling construction, premises liability, general liability and environmental claims.  He serves as panel counsel for many prominent insurance carriers, as well as personal counsel to several national and regional homebuilders, developers, and general contractors. 

Amir Kahana is co-founder of Kahana Feld and serves as the firmwide managing partner and the co-leader of Kahana Feld’s National Appellate Litigation & Consulting Group. He has extensive experience in appellate advocacy and civil litigation, including partnership and shareholder disputes, contract claims and business torts, as well as employment litigation. His experience includes handling numerous appeals in both state and federal appellate courts, recovering over $50 million on behalf of his clients, and litigating over 1,000 defense cases. 

Sharon Oh-Kubisch concentrates her practice on business litigation and has handled a wide range of complex matters, focusing primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, finance, financial services, and business disputes. Her current and former clients include a diverse range of lenders, financial institutions, brokers, builders, developers, investors, subcontractors, brokers, mortgage companies, homeowners’ associations, property managers, and businesses seeking outside general counsel. Her experience includes all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution
