Mark Heftler is senior counsel in Kahana Feld’s New York City office and is a member of the National Appellate Litigation & Consulting group. Mark has more than 10 years of experience representing insurers, public entities, and private clients in complex litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters. He has managed cases through every stage of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial, arbitration, and appellate resolution. He has appeared before the New Jersey Appellate Division and has argued appeals before the Disciplinary Review Board, bringing extensive experience in legal research, persuasive writing, and oral advocacy. 

Prior to joining Kahana Feld, Mark managed a statewide arbitration program, overseeing the panel’s appellate work product to ensure statutory, regulatory, and procedural compliance. He currently serves as a member of the District XB Ethics Committee in connection with the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics.
