Jaion Chung, Esq. is a partner at Kahana Feld’s Los Angeles office, and co-chair of the Trucking & Transportation practice group. She is an integral member of both Trucking & Transportation and General Liability practice groups. Her practice focuses on defending companies and their employees against a range of personal injury claims, including catastrophic injuries. In addition to trying cases, she has extensive experience conceptualizing and drafting dispositive motions and briefs on significant and catastrophic property and casualty matters. Her clients include national motor carriers; mass media and entertainment companies; product manufacturers, distributors, and retailers; and insurance companies.
Jaion also has an extensive appellate background, having clerked at the California Court of Appeal, 2nd Appellate District and at a prominent regional appellate firm. These experiences have been instrumental in her role as appellate monitoring counsel.
In addition to her professional achievements, Jaion serves on the board of directors for the Trucking Insurance Defense Association (TIDA) and is an active member of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys baking and traveling to explore new cultures.
