About Sarah Pavlini, Esq.

Sarah Pavlini is an attorney at Kahana Feld's New York office. Ms. Pavlini's focus has been on appellate law since law school. She has cultivated a practice steeped in legal research and persuasive writing. Ms. Pavlini is exceptionally skilled at evaluating matters from their inception of litigation and approaches each case holistically, looking at the entire lifespan of a case to determine the strategy to pursue on appeal.

Ms. Pavlini's love for her constitutional law class in college drove her decision to become a lawyer. In law school, she focused with laser intensity on appellate law and sought internships that provided hands-on, practical training that expanded her skill set and informs her practice today. She worked for the Suffolk County (Massachusetts) District Attorney’s Office, Appellate Division; the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the District of Massachusetts Appellate Unit and the Hon. Juan R. Torruella of the First Circuit Court of Appeals; and Protect Democracy. After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk for the New York Court of Appeals.

Ms. Pavlini has always sought and attained positions that provided her with a well-rounded appellate background. She has experience in both state and federal appellate courts and understands how to evaluate matters from the perspectives of the bench and the bar. She has honed her skills in writing and editing legal documents, two of the most important skills for appellate attorneys, since serving as articles editor for the Northeastern University Law Review.
