Moya M. O’Connor is an accomplished partner and ABOTA trial attorney whose practice focuses on the defense of complex personal injury actions that involve high exposure questions of liability and damages in state, appellate, and federal court. Over the course of her nearly 20 years of practice, Moya has achieved defense verdicts, selected juries, and resolved hundreds of matters via settlement negotiations and dispositive motions in venues across the New York Metropolitan Area.
Both inside and outside of the office, Moya is committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives and very active in the legal community. Moya is the founder and CEO of Caribbean Attorneys Network, Inc. (CAN), a nonprofit professional organization founded in 2014 that is geared toward the development of attorneys, law students, and legal professionals of Caribbean descent. Moya is also regularly sought after by bar associations to speak about her trial and litigation management skills.
