Profile

Michael C. Parme is a partner in Kahana Feld’s San Diego office. Michael is an experienced trial attorney and represents clients in civil action matters arising from commercial liability and business disputes, employment-related claims, professional liability, and complex multi-party construction and environmental litigation.

His practice includes defending businesses of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, in catastrophic bodily injury and wrongful death actions. He also represents product manufacturers, contractors, and developers in multi-party litigation, and he advises businesses in disputes involving breach of contract and business interference. In addition, he defends professionals—including realtors, appraisers, accountants, healthcare providers, and veterinary service providers—in professional liability claims, as well as directors and officers facing allegations of breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and negligence.

Michael’s trial practice increasingly emphasizes deployment in high stakes litigation in any jurisdiction close to trial for purposes of supporting or taking lead for local counsel, where clients rely on his combination of trial experience and dispute resolution training to obtain maximum transparency on risk and control outcomes.

In addition to his litigation practice, Michael is a Lecturer at the University of California San Diego Rady School of Management, teaching courses on business law, litigation, and dispute resolution.
