Julieanne Yanez is a partner in Kahana Feld’s New York office and is a member of the New York Labor Law, General Liability, and Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation groups. A versatile litigator and sophisticated corporate advisor, Julieanne brings over a decade of litigation and advisory experience across both private and public sectors. Her practice at Kahana Feld involves handling construction, general liability, and labor and employment law litigation through all phases, from initial investigation through trial. Through zealous advocacy and strategic advice grounded in trust and practical guidance, Julieanne is known to bridge the gap between high-stakes litigation and the complex Labor Law landscape. She applies these skills in analyzing insurance coverage issues to structure, evaluate, and enforce risk transfer positions.  

Julieanne also brings to her practice hands-on corporate governance and regulatory property management experience through her co-op board service and prior in-house counsel roles. This experience gives her practical insight and an intimate understanding of the myriad of legal and operational challenges faced by her clients, and it informs her approach in representing and advising her clients on issues such as day-to-day labor and employment matters, contract negotiations, and vendor selection, while protecting organizational and business interests.
