Attorney

Frank J. Piña IV is an attorney at Kahana Feld’s New York City office. Admitted in both state and federal court, he represents a diverse clientele of building owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors in multi-party complex litigation matters.

His practice focuses on defending high-exposure New York Labor Law, construction defect, premises/general liability, commercial auto transportation, as well as commercial litigation matters involving residential and commercial real estate. He has comprehensive motion practice including dispositive motions in construction, general liability, transportation and commercial litigation matters.

Frank's legal expertise is complemented by extensive hands-on construction experience, giving him a unique perspective into any construction related legal issue. Prior to joining Kahana Feld, he worked as a heavy equipment operator, pipefitter and structural welder for a full-service general contractor. Throughout his career, he has developed a robust understanding of construction and development from the field to the courtroom.

Frank earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York Law School where he was a recipient of The Helen and Andrew Dokas Memorial Award for Excellent Achievement. 

Outside of the office he enjoys grilling and spending time with his family and dog. He is an avid Houston sports fan.
