Profile

Daniel Yu serves as Of Counsel in Kahana Feld’s Irvine office. He is an accomplished civil litigator and trial attorney with nearly two decades of experience representing clients in complex commercial and business disputes. Daniel brings a broad and versatile background to the firm, shaped by experience at a National Law Journal Top 10 Litigation Boutique, leadership as general counsel for an Inc. 500 technology company, and the operation of his own law practice. 

Daniel has extensive experience handling a wide range of matters, including contract and commercial disputes, corporate and partnership conflicts, torts, labor and employment, intellectual property matters, and real estate litigation. He is fluent in Korean and conversant in Thai. 

In addition to his legal practice, Daniel is deeply committed to humanitarian and community-focused work. He and his wife co-founded Elevation Story, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid, educational support, and community development opportunities throughout Southeast Asia.
