In Memoriam: Robert Fishkin, Esq.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our friend and partner, Robert Fishkin. Robert joined Kahana Feld soon after the opening of the New York office, which was a pivotal moment in the firm’s growth. Robert brought experience, steadiness, and perspective to the team at a crucial time.

With more than 40 years of experience, Robert became known as a mentor, supervisor, strategist, and trusted advisor to all his colleagues. He helped interview and develop talent, thoughtfully assigned and managed cases, and ensured Kahana Feld reflected the highest standards of preparation and professionalism.

More than his credentials, Robert brought class, humility, and genuine love for the practice of law. He truly loved being a lawyer and loved being part of Kahana Feld. He worked with dedication and pride and was a consummate professional whose integrity never wavered.

We will deeply miss Robert’s wisdom, his steady presence, and the example he set for all of us. His legacy lives on in the standards he helped establish, the lawyers he mentored, and the culture he strengthened. He was not only an exceptional attorney, but an exceptional man.
