IRVINE, CA – Nov. 6, 2025 – Kahana Feld is pleased to announce the promotion of attorneys Farrah Ahmed, Rachael Marvin, Christina Pingaro, and Antigone Tzakis to partner.
Farrah Ahmed, a member of Kahana Feld’s General Liability and Business & Commercial Litigation Groups, is based in the firm’s Dallas office. She focuses her practice on general liability defense, construction defect, and professional liability defense and commercial litigation, representing clients in cases involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, negligence actions, non-compete and non-disclosure, premises liability, professional liability, and tortious interference. She also has experience handling matters involving the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) and the Texas Theft Liability Act. She is an experienced litigator who has handled cases from initial appearance in litigation through trial in state and federal court. She has also dismissed claims through dispositive motions, such as motion to dismiss, and traditional and no-evidence motion for summary judgment. Ahmed also advises clients on a variety of businesses transactions, contracts, and commercial leases and negotiations. She has also negotiated many settlements and resolved disputes varying in complexity through mediation and arbitration.
Rachael Marvin is based in the firm’s New York City and New Jersey offices and is a member of the General Liability, New York Labor Law, Trucking & Transportation, and National Appellate Litigation & Consulting Groups. Marvin is experienced in handling a wide range of civil litigation practice areas, including New York labor law, construction defect, premises liability, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and product liability. She has represented hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other health care professionals from high-exposure malpractice and negligence claims and regularly defends building owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in complex labor law, premises, and construction defect matters. Marvin is experienced in handling cases from inception through trial and has argued appeals in New York’s Appellate Division.
Christina Pingaro is based in the firm’s New York City office and has a wealth of experience in civil litigation. She has worked as both a trial attorney and as appellate counsel in numerous practice areas including construction defect, labor law, premises liability, professional liability, and medical malpractice. As a member of the National Appellate & Consulting Group, Pingaro consults with defense counsel on high-exposure claims from inception through verdict to provide strategic advice regarding discovery, pre-trial motions, litigation, post-trial motions, and appeal. She also handles all phases of drafting and reviewing appellate briefs in complex matters. An experienced litigator, Pingaro also frequently serves as appellate monitoring counsel and works and works to shape key legal issues at the trial level and to properly preserve the record to litigate those issues on appeal.
Antigone Tzakis is based in the New York City office and is a member of the General Liability and New York Labor Law Groups. Tzakis has extensive experience handling a wide range of high-exposure complex litigation claims, with an emphasis on New York Labor Law, construction defect, and general liability matters. Tzakis has represented property owners, contractors, subcontractors, businesses, and entertainment venues, in both state and federal courts, and often serves as excess or monitoring counsel.
