The OCBJ Women in Business Awards recognizes outstanding women leaders who demonstrate innovation, leadership, professional excellence, and community impact across Orange County. The nominees will be recognized at an awards event at the Irvine Marriott on September 17, 2026.
Since joining Kahana Feld as Chief Operating Officer in 2024, Rina Hunter has been instrumental in transforming the firm from a 50-person practice into a National Law Journal (NLJ) 500 firm with over 160 attorneys and 280 employees. With 20 years of experience in law firm operations and business administration, including senior leadership roles at several prominent firms, Rina currently oversees the operations team, managing critical functions for the firm. Under Rina’s leadership, the firm has significantly increased revenue, expanded its national presence with six new offices, and built a strong operational foundation to support sustainable growth.
Rina has advanced Kahana Feld’s commitment to social responsibility by leading firmwide charitable initiatives supporting both the legal community and local organizations. She has spearheaded campaigns that directed employee and firm-matched donations to groups including the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Foundation, Laura’s House, Foster Angels of South Texas, the Red Cross, and Community Legal Aid SoCal.
