Kahana Feld Appoints Partner Cynthia Pertile Tarle as Managing Partner of Texas
IRVINE, CA – July 28, 2026 – Kahana Feld is pleased to announce that Partner Cynthia Pertile Tarle has been appointed Texas Managing Partner. In this expanded leadership role, Tarle will oversee the firm’s continued growth and strategic initiatives throughout the Texas market while continuing to serve as Chair of Kahana Feld’s General Liability Practice Group, a position she was appointed to in December 2025.
Tarle joined Kahana Feld in July 2025 following the successful merger of her former firm, Tarle Law, with Kahana Feld. She founded Tarle Law in 2011, where she served as principal and managing partner, overseeing four offices and representing clients throughout California and Texas. A respected leader and mentor, Tarle was elevated to Equity Partner at Kahana Feld in November 2025 and subsequently appointed Chair of the firm’s General Liability Practice Group in December 2025.

With more than three decades of litigation experience, Tarle has developed a broad and distinguished practice focused on complex liability matters. She has extensive experience defending clients in general liability, construction defect, products liability, catastrophic loss, bodily injury, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death matters. Known for her strategic insight, innovative problem-solving, and dedication to client advocacy, she has earned the trust of clients facing high-stakes litigation challenges.
Tarle also brings experience defending contractors, developers, and other industry professionals in commercial, mixed-use, residential, and government construction defect actions. She will continue to remain actively involved in Kahana Feld’s construction defect practice while carrying out her expanded leadership responsibilities.
