No-Evidence Summary Judgment Secured in Texas Litigation 

KF attorney Anisha Mathew secured a successful No-Evidence Motion for Summary Judgment, obtaining dismissal of claims against the client, a tow truck company that was improperly named in a lawsuit involving post-incident damage to an exotic automobile. The client’s involvement was limited to towing the vehicle after the underlying incident, yet the plaintiff asserted secondary negligence claims related to alleged property damage. 

Anisha demonstrated that the plaintiff lacked evidence to support their claims and further prevailed on a Motion to Strike and objections based on the plaintiff’s failure to timely produce summary judgment evidence. Leveraging months-long outstanding discovery deficiencies, she successfully argued the materials were inadmissible under Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 193.6.
