IRVINE, CA – Aug. 28, 2025 – Kahana Feld is pleased to announce that the firm and two attorneys, Mimi Ahn and Andrea Vosough, were recognized by the Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law (OCCDL) 2025 Awards. Each year, the OCCDL Awards honor individuals and organizations who have advanced diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Orange County legal community. The firm and individual recipients will be recognized at an awards gala at The Westin South Coast Plaza on September 9.

Kahana Feld was the recipient of the Axis Award, which recognizes organizations that are pivotal for advancement and growth, moving institutions forward while staying committed to their core values. The firm was acknowledged for its culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion. For example, this year the firm launched its Korea Practice Group, continues to expand its active DEI Committee programs, and champions community engagement through active roles in local bar associations.

Mimi Ahn was honored with the Bridgebuilder Award, which is given to individuals and organizations who have advanced the Orange County legal community in the past year. Mimi is a partner in the firm’s Irvine office and the Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. A past president of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association, Mimi has expanded mentorship opportunities, built cross-community partnerships, and championed diversity. She serves on multiple non-profit and bar association boards, provides pro bono legal services to underserved communities, mentors young women attorneys, and co-founded Kahana Feld’s DEI Committee, leading initiatives that celebrate diversity and promote equal access to justice.

Andrea Vosough received the Top Young Lawyers Award, which is awarded to individuals with under 10 years of practice who have advanced the Orange County legal community in the past year. Andrea is an attorney in Kahana Feld’s Irvine office and a member of the General Liability Practice Group. She is a dedicated advocate for diversity and inclusion and a proud first-generation Mexican American lawyer. She represents clients ranging from small businesses to national companies. Andrea is active in the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, volunteers to provide free legal advice to Spanish-speaking community members, and mentors Kahana Feld summer associates.

The OCCDL is a collaborative effort of professionals from leading Orange County law firms and other community partners promoting the advancement of diverse attorneys in Orange County.
