Sean Harriton is a Senior Attorney at Kahana Feld's New York, New Jersey and Connecticut offices. Mr. Harriton's integrity and unparalleled work ethic have won him his clients’ trust and confidence.  He believes in practicing law at the highest level to deliver impeccable work and achieve success on behalf of each of his clients.  His passion for appellate and litigation strategy, diligence and meticulous attention to detail shines through in his written work, which includes appellate briefs, trial motions and legal strategy evaluations. Mr. Harriton has significant experience serving as appellate monitoring counsel on major trials, and has experience conceptualizing and drafting appellate briefs and dispositive and other motions on catastrophic property and casualty matters of all kinds.

Mr. Harriton prides himself on his analytical, oral advocacy and writing skills and ability to creatively shape high-stakes, high-exposure litigation and appeals to deliver the desired result for his clients.  His significant background handling all facets of cases from inception to resolution in state and federal courts throughout the country allows him to provide invaluable insight when supporting trial counsel with complex litigation and appeals.

Previously, Mr. Harriton has practiced commercial litigation, energy and environmental law at a boutique New York-area firm for two and a half years.  Subsequent thereto, he gained substantial appellate and litigation strategy experience working for two New York-area mid-size firm for over three & a half years.

Mr. Harriton served as a Paralegal Specialist for the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Civil Division, Federal Programs Branch from 2009 to 2015 and continued working in that role after starting law school at American University Washington College of Law (“WCL”) in 2012.  During law school, he also clerked for The White House, Executive Office of the President, Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), the Appellate Section of the DOJ’s Environment & Natural Resources Division and the United States Coast Guard’s Office of Maritime and International Law.  Additionally, Mr. Harriton interned for the Honorable Michael L. Rankin at the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and represented indigent clients as a student attorney for the Civil Advocacy Clinic at WCL.
