Eric S. Bernhardt is a Partner at Kahana Feld’s Buffalo office. He is an experienced appellate advocate and litigator. His practice has encompassed multiple types of litigation including the defense of New York Labor Law, construction, product liability, trucking, professional and medical malpractice, automobile accident, and general negligence cases. Eric prides himself on developing creative, practical, and cost-effective litigation strategies in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
A Buffalo native, Eric earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. He practiced in California for several years before moving back to his hometown, but remains licensed to practice in California.
With over 20 years of practice, Eric has developed a passion for legal writing, legal strategy, and the honorable practice of Law, which passion he has shared through mentoring newer attorneys.
When not practicing law, Eric can be found in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and cooking methods, smoking meat in the back yard, entertaining friends in his whisky library, or enjoying time with his wife, daughters, and dogs.
