Partner Moya O’Connor Elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates

Kahana Feld is pleased to announce that New York-based partner Moya O’Connor was recently accepted as a new member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and is reserved for attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill, integrity, and extensive experience as trial advocates.

O’Connor has two decades of litigation and first-chair trial experience, with a practice focused on general liability, trucking & transportation, and New York labor law matters in state, appellate, and federal courts. 

O’Connor joined Kahana Feld in January 2025. She is the founder of the Caribbean Attorneys Network and current president of the Association of Black Women Attorneys.

Founded in 1958, ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges who are dedicated to preserving the civil jury trial and educating and training trial lawyers. ABOTA is an invitation-only organization and has more than 7,600 members throughout the country.
