Kahana Feld Appoints Partner Cynthia Pertile Tarle as Chair of the Firm’s General Liability Practice Group
IRVINE, CA – December 16, 2025 – Kahana Feld is pleased to announce that Partner Cynthia Pertile Tarle has been appointed as the new Chair of the firm’s General Liability Practice Group.
Tarle joined Kahana Feld in July 2025 following a successful merger of her former firm with Kahana Feld. She founded Tarle Law in 2011, where she served as principal and managing partner for the firm’s four offices, litigating and serving clients across California and Texas. As a respected leader and mentor, she was elevated to Equity Partner at Kahana Feld in November 2025 and will now be at the helm of the firm’s largest practice group.

Throughout her career spanning more than three decades, Tarle has gained a broad and diverse litigation background and deep experience in general liability matters. Known for her strategic insight, innovative problem-solving, and superior client advocacy, she has defended clients in general liability matters, products liability, catastrophic loss, bodily injury, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death claims.
Tarle also has an extensive background and 30-year history defending contractors in commercial, mixed-use, residential, and government works construction defect actions. “While I take on this expanded leadership role, I remain fully committed to our construction defect practice and to ensuring our clients continue to receive the strategic guidance and dedicated representation they have long relied on.”
