IRVINE, CA – Sept. 2025 – Kahana Feld is pleased to announce the continued growth of its litigation and construction practices with the addition of three highly experienced attorneys: Ravi Mehta, Manuel Ugarte, and Marc Schulz. Collectively, they bring decades of trial and litigation experience, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities across key practice areas.
Ravi Mehta joins the firm’s Los Angeles office as part of the Construction Litigation practice group. With nearly 20 years of experience in construction law, Ravi represents a wide range of clients including project owners, real estate developers, general contractors, and subcontractors involved in both public and private sector projects. His practice centers on complex, multi-party disputes arising during and after construction. He also handles matters involving mold litigation, product liability, and general liability claims, including catastrophic torts.
Manuel Ugarte is based in the firm’s Irvine office and is part of the General Liability practice group. Manuel is a veteran civil litigator and represents both corporate clients and individuals in diverse, high-stakes legal matters. His areas of focus include commercial litigation, product liability, employment law, class actions, subrogation, and general business disputes. He has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts and brings experience from working on prominent legal teams as well as advising local businesses.
Marc Schulz joins the firm’s Buffalo office and is part of the General Liability and New York Labor Law practice groups. Marc has over a decade of experience in complex litigation and insurance defense matters, including high-exposure and third-party cases, with a focus on defending owners, contractors, and subcontractors against Labor Law 240, 241, 200, negligence, and indemnification claims. He also handles premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle, and construction defect claims.
