Jaion Chung, a member of Kahana Feld’s Trucking & Transportation and General Liability groups, is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Chung focuses her practice on defending companies and their employees against a range of personal injury claims, including catastrophic injuries. Her clients include national motor carriers, mass media and entertainment companies, product manufacturers, distributors and retailers, and insurance companies. Chung also serves on the board of directors for the Trucking Insurance Defense Association.
Sharon Oh-Kubisch is based in the firm’s Irvine Office and is a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation and Korea practice groups. Oh-Kubisch has significant experience handling complex legal matters, with a primary focus on commercial real estate, finance, financial services, and business disputes. She represents a broad spectrum of clients, including lenders, financial institutions, builders, developers, investors, subcontractors, mortgage companies, brokers, homeowners’ associations, property managers, and companies in need of outside general counsel services. Her practice spans all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution. Oh-Kubisch is the current Secretary of the Orange County Bar Association and serves as Treasurer of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association.
Cynthia Pertile Tarle is based in the firm’s Carlsbad office and has three decades of experience representing Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, and policyholders. Tarle focuses her practice on multi-party construction defect matters involving commercial, mixed-use, and residential projects, as well as school districts. Her diverse litigation background includes the defense of general liability claims, products liability, catastrophic loss, bodily injury, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death actions. She also has extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas and solar-related matters. In addition to her litigation work, Tarle frequently serves as monitoring counsel, overseeing nationwide litigation portfolios and advising clients on risk mitigation and case strategy. She is also a national consultant on contract development, assisting clients in aligning contractual terms with insurance requirements to strengthen risk transfer and loss prevention programs.
Shayne Wulterin is based in the Las Vegas and Irvine offices and is a member of the General Liability and Construction Law groups. Wulterin has more than 30 years of litigation experience with a trial practice focused on general liability matters involving catastrophic loss, professional liability, premises liability, malpractice, and negligence. He also has substantial experience defending complex construction defect actions and represents developers, construction companies, public entities, corporations, individuals, and insurers with a particular emphasis on high-profile companies, engineers, and licensed professionals.
