IRVINE, CA – July 8, 2025 – Kahana Feld is proud to announce that Partner Mimi Ahn has been appointed as the new Chair of the Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation Practice Group.
Mimi Ahn joined Kahana Feld in November 2017 as an associate attorney, concentrating on employment and labor law. Known for her deep experience in this complex and ever-evolving area of law, Mimi was elevated to partner in August 2022 and shareholder in November 2024. A seasoned litigator and trial attorney, Mimi consistently demonstrates exceptional legal insight and an unwavering commitment to her clients and colleagues. In addition to the Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation practice group , Mimi is also a member of the Korea Practice Group.
Since joining the firm, Mimi has distinguished herself through her dedication to mentoring others, fostering a collaborative culture, and strengthening the Kahana Feld community.

Beyond her legal practice, Mimi has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to public service and community leadership. She served as president of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association from 2023 to 2024 and currently serves on the board of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association Foundation, Orange County Women Lawyers Association, and the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center. She is also an active member of various other bar associations, including the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Asian American Bar Association.
