Kahana Feld proudly announces that trial attorney Gail Goode, Esq., has joined the firm as Of Counsel to our New York offices. Gail has had a long and illustrious career including as Deputy Executive Assistant General Counsel managing the Torts Division for the New York City Transit Authority, and as the Deputy Borough Chief of Trials (Kings County) for the City of New York. Gail has handled and tried to verdict over 80 high exposure CAT cases and trials (state and federal) in all boroughs for both the City of New York and the Transit Authority. Prior to that, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County in the Major Case/Homicide Bureau where she tried 30 cases to verdict and prosecuted approximately 60 career violent felony offenders yearly.
In addition to her lead trial work, throughout her career she has also mentored, trained, and second-chaired numerous young attorneys for these municipal agencies, including just last week when she provided a wonderful and well-received two-day seminar to young attorneys on trial technique.
