Shannon Avnsoe is the Recruiting Manager for Kahana Feld. She has over 20 years of legal search consultant experience, matching top credentialed attorneys and legal staff with AmLaw 200 law firms and corporate law groups throughout the country.
As a recruiter, Shannon began her career with the national staffing and recruitment firm, Robert Half, before joining Kass Abell & Associates, a premiere Los Angeles-based attorney search firm and founding member of NALSC. During her ten-year tenure with Kass Abell she spearheaded the firm’s national expansion and served as lead recruiter of the in-house team, before branching out with her own company.
Prior to her recruiting career, Shannon was a paralegal for over a decade. She worked with the litigation and trial group of the Los Angeles office of the New York-based international law firm, Kaye Scholer, and then transitioned into the entertainment industry, working with the General Counsel of Fox Family Entertainment on both corporate and litigation matters. As an entertainment and intellectual property paralegal, she worked with some of the top dealmakers and legal minds in Hollywood and on some high-profile cases, including the prolonged legal battle over the film rights to “Spiderman.”
Shannon is a fifth generation Texan and loves the arts, the Dallas Cowboys, and great guacamole.
