Matthew Williams, Esq.

Matthew Williams is an Attorney in Kahana Feld’s Walnut Creek office and a member of the Construction Law and General Liability practice groups. Matt is a litigator with more than two decades of trial experience. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and handles a range of matters for his clients, including personal injury, products liability, professional liability, and insurance defense.

Matt began his career as a Lieutenant in the Navy JAG Corps, as a criminal defense attorney and later defending environmental, toxic tort and professional liability cases. Throughout his career, he has been a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and an attorney with AmLaw 100 law firms and with the Federal Government practicing both civil and criminal tax law.

Prior to joining Kahana Feld, Matt worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company. He is dedicated to helping his clients achieve the best possible outcome. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, painting and travelling.
