Managing Partner - Walnut Creek Office

Alexander Rolph Moore is the Managing Partner in the Northern California office of Kahana Feld. He has more than 20 years of experience representing civil defendants throughout Northern and Central California. Alexander has successfully represented individual and commercial clients in complex disputes arising out of construction contracts, construction defect allegations, premises liability matters, landlord-tenant disputes, and personal injuries. He has defended numerous developers, builders, as well as general contractors and subcontractors in disputes involving numerous parties and tens of millions of dollars in alleged damages. As a litigator with trial experience, Alexander has prevailed on motions for summary judgment and successfully represented clients in complex arbitrations and at trial.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Alexander joined the United States Army, trained at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and was stationed as a non-commissioned officer in Bamberg, Germany and Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When not in the office, he is usually riding one of his bicycles, hiking in an East Bay Park with his wife and son, or visiting a site of historical significance somewhere in California. He has been the Contra Costa County Vice-President of The Society of California Pioneers for many years.
