Yaron Shaham is an experienced and respected litigation attorney. He is a Partner at Kahana & Feld in its business litigation and employment practice groups. Mr. Shaham has extensive experience in commercial and consumer financial services litigation. Prior to joining Kahana & Feld, Mr. Shaham worked at several large nationwide law firms defending mortgage lenders, financial service providers and banking institutions handling their legal matters including foreclosures, banking operations, bankruptcy and general business litigation. Mr. Shaham has an extensive track record of success, including obtaining summary judgments, early dismissals and negotiating numerous settlements for his clients in very complex and sophisticated matters.

Mr. Shaham graduated with a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, majoring in Middle Eastern Studies. He is admitted to practice law in all Courts in the States of California and Texas. Further, Mr. Shaham is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and all Federal and Bankruptcy Courts in California. Mr. Shaham was recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2009-2014. Mr. Shaham also served as Chair of the Orange County Bar Association Banking and Lending Group in 2009, and is an active member of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum and Orange County Jewish Bar Associations. Mr. Shaham is also an industry speaker including being a panelist at the American Bar Association – Business Law Section, Consumer Financial Services Program and Orange County Bar Association’s Financial Services Practices Section on topics involving California Foreclosure, The Implementation of the Dodd Frank Act and Consumer Finance Protections.

He champions his clients’ interests with strong advocacy and creative solutions. He is responsive to each client’s specific needs, and his resourceful approach to litigation and counseling leads to strong, satisfying results. Mr. Shaham has successfully represented financial institutions such as banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, and mortgage loan servicers in litigation and arbitration, as well as business owners, receivers, and bankruptcy trustees.

Mr. Shaham resides in Tustin with his wife and two daughters. He is an active member of the Jewish Federation of Orange County, serving on the Board of Directors from 2009-2010 and as Chair of the Young Leadership Division. He is also involved at Congregation B’nai Israel, Texas Exes (University of Texas Alumni Association), the Orange County Jewish Adventure Princesses, and The Solomon Society. To maintain balance, Mr. Shaham enjoys going to the beach with his family, attending his kids’ performances and sporting events, and traveling. Mr. Shaham is a native-Houstonian and loyal fan of Longhorn and Houston pro-sports teams.
