Alex M. Chazen, Esq., an experienced litigator and trial attorney at Kahana & Feld LLP. has extensive experience with civil litigation, with an emphasis on construction litigation.
Mr. Chazen has represented clients in all aspects of construction litigation, including homeowners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors. He has secured favorable results for his clients, including favorable arbitration awards, settlements, and success in motion practice. Mr. Chazen also has worked with his clients to develop contract and project documents, risk management strategy and dispute resolution prior to the initiation of litigation.
Mr. Chazen graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science with an emphasis on public policy degree and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While at Loyola, Mr. Chazen was an Associate Justice on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board, as well as a student attorney in the Loyola Law School Tax Appeals Assistance Program. Mr. Chazen also worked as a volunteer law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in Central Trials. Mr. Chazen lives in Newport Beach with his wife and daughter. He is an active member of the community and in his free time enjoys golfing, attending live theater, and walking his pug.
